› Heroes Then and Now (Project 4 Unit 4) EXTRA READING

Short reading passage comparing historical heroes (e.g., Joan of Arc, Robin Hood) with modern heroes (film characters like Spider-Man and real-life helpers such as firefighters and doctors), followed by comprehension activities: vocabulary fill-in, true/false, adjective opposites, multiple-choice comprehension questions and longer reading tasks about real young heroes (Lin Hao, Tilly Smith, Charlie Simpson, Ryan Hreljac). Intended as extra reading practice for elementary/intermediate ESL learners.
